Weight gain.. finally!

I am 8.2 kg as of yesterday!! I gained 0.2kg over 5 days. Mummy is so happy! Looks like my recent meal schedule works. Here's what I eat daily at Ah Ma's place the past 2 weeks:

• Morning: 180ml of milk (usually left around 80ml - 100ml), use remaining milk to cook brown rice powder + flaxseed meal + 1 cube of laughing cow cheese
  
• Lunch: 2 meals of porridge (white rice + brown rice/brown rice powder + threadfin fish + vegy cube + ikan billis powder, and occasional tofu/egg yolk)
• Snacks: Occasional fruits, bread, baby biscuits, yoghurt
  
• Dinner/Supper: 2 times of 180ml of milk + 1 or 2 teaspoon of FrisoCrem for each feed (usually takes 1+ hrs to finish each feed, with many many breaks in between for me to play). Sometimes I may skip the last feed of milk.. or drink only 80ml - 100ml, especially if I wake up late or nap too long in the afternoon
  

I am a super playful boy now. I love to play hide-and-seek! I'll hide my tutu in the drawer (yes, I know how to open the kitchen drawer a long time ago), my bobo in some corner, my bottle cap in Gong Gong's shoes, and my froggy wristband in Mummy's paper bag! It's so fun. Everyone had a hard time looking for my things. Hahaha! Mummy taught me how to keep my own toys mah... so I "keep" everything away! :p

I am 1 year old today! Yeah!! I am supposed to be 3 times my birth weight by now. But.. I'm only 8kg. Still 0.22kg away from my target! And... I'm on milk strike again! It's war time whenever I see my milk bottle. Ah ma, mummy and daddy have to perform lots of stunts just to make me finish my 180ml of mik, 3-4 times a day! Hahaha! Solids are slightly better though.. I love to eat in front of the tv with my favourite song.. 风中的玫瑰 (in Hokkien). :p

Here's a list of what I can do now:

• Understand words like yes, no, naughty boy, clever boy, doggy, meow meow, light light, bye bye, so cute (with actions), gai gai, and many many more (in fact, I seem to understad most of the words that the adults say to me!)
• 摇头, 点头, 拍手, 恭喜恭喜, 睡觉, 拜拜
• Say words like neh neh, mum mum, Ah gong (Mummy: No mama and papa... sad. :(), green-sound-alike, 没有-sound-alike, etc
• Whisper back when someones whisper to me
• Fake cry/laugh
• Stand unsupported for a few seconds and cruise along the wall/furniture

Oh, and I've got just 2 little teeth at the bottom. No signs of other new teeth yet. I don't need night feed anymore, though I still wake up several times a day and need to be coax back to sleep.

That's all I can remember for now. What else did I miss??

My 1st birthday party!

I celebrated my first birthday last Saturday at Costa Sand Resort Pasir Ris. We celebrated in advance as my actual birthday falls on this Friday.

Look at all my balloons! I was so excited seeing all the decorations being put up!


This is what I'll do when people says "So cute!". So cute right? ;) Mummy specially ordered my birthday banner online. We had a sesame street theme.


See! Even my birthday cake has lots of sesame street figurines! My cake is from pgcakes. Lychee martini flavour! Mummy simply love their design.


Why is mummy boxing me?


Is this my birthday cake? Can I eat them? I had a taste of my actual birthday cake.. only 1 small mouth though, as mummy was afraid I would be allergic to it. I haven't tasted egg-white before. Luckily I had no adverse reactions.


Finally, it's cake cutting time! I was getting a bit grouchy as I didn't get enough sleep in the afternoon. I was too excited to take a nap! Opps! :p

I am simply fascinated by the bright candles!

Happy 1st lunar birthday to me!

23rd Nov 2008 Sunday was my first lunar birthday! It falls on 26th October on the lunar calendar and according to the lunar calendar, I'm already 2 years old! WOW! We didn't really celebrated it. But here's some pictures taken on the day to share!

I look real CUTE in my hooded-suit right? And I've just learnt a new trick! When you say "So cute!", I'll shake my fist in a really cute manner. Mummy and Daddy didn't managed to capture that in the photos or video yet. I'll show you next time ok?

Here's me in my new Tigger Crocs! It's the first time I'm standing on my own outside. I was a bit scared and was holding on real tight to the metal bar! I didn't dare to move at all. Haha!

My first wedding dinner!

Not mine of course! It's Aunty Mic's wedding. This is the first time I attended a wedding dinner! Look at me, all set to go in my car seat!

I was a good boy that night. Happily playing on my high chair with the plastic spoon that the waitress gave me. I even finished my milk at record time! At 9+pm which is my usual bedtime, I was just cranky for a little while then went into dreamland soon. What an angel I am!

Mummy's birthday

Mummy celebrated her birthday with Daddy... but without me! Hummpf! They went for spa, lunch and lots of shopping together, while I was at home with Ah Ma and Gong Gong! It's ok, they haven't had time alone together ever since I was born anyway. Haha!

But of course they didn't forget me. Daddy bought a small cake just to take photos together with me! See.. I was so amazed with the candle!

What a happy weekend!

Wow.. it's been a few weeks since my blog was updated. I've been real busy lately.. with lots of new updates! I finally learnt how to stand for a few seconds without support! But a little wobbly :p No video to show you as Mummy was too surprised to take any!

Poor me fell sick last wednesday... Hit with fever up to 39.5 degress celcius! Then I recovered on Saturday with no fever but the evil fever came back on Sunday and lasted till Tuesday! Made me lose my appetite and even vomit out phlegm quite a few times :(

Now I recovered fully and was a ANGEL last weekend! I was so happy and I also learnt how to crawl around on fours now!

My first overseas trip...

Without the need for a passport that is. :p Last Saturday, mummy and daddy brought me to Sentosa for a one night stay at Amara Sanctuary Resort. It was that first time I stayed outside. I had great fun there! See how happy I was when we first reached the hotel room!

This is my first time to the beach too. The sand feels weird.. I love the BIG pool of water though. It's so hot I can't wait to jump into it! Mummy says that's the sea and it's too dangerous for me. We'll go to the pool later instead.

Mummy... I want to go back to the aircon room. Zzzzz...

I love my new tricycle

Wednesday was public holiday. I was happy to spend time with mummy and daddy. I've been sticking out my tongue a lot recently because I am pretty irritated with my new teeth. Yes, I have 2 little teeth now! One pop out 1-2 weeks ago, the other one is just breaking through. This explains why I keep waking up during the night crying non-stop sometimes.


We went to Ah Ma's place and to AMK hub for shopping after that. Look at me in the shopping cart! This is fun. Hehe.

And daddy bought me a new tricycle! Check it out! I love being pushed around in it, though my feet can't touch the pedals yet.
