10 kg finally!

My weight finally hit 2 digits! Mummy and Daddy have been waiting for soooo long! I am finally 10 kg now, at 2 years old exactly. No wonder Mummy's arms are aching the whole weekend from carrying me.

I'm still very much underweight though. Well, as long as I'm healthy, that's fine! :)

Barney show!

We went to the Barney Show at United Square tonight.

Finally, Barney came, singing some of my favourite songs. But I wanted Barney to sing the "Clap clap clap" song. He didn't, so I got angry and didn't want to watch the show anymore. As usual, we had to leave halfway through the show.

I am 2!

I am 2 years old today! We planned to have a nice celebration and bbq at grand-auntie's place. But who knows...

Looking at Daddy blow up the balloons for the decoration at home, in case it rains we'll still have a back-up plan.

Tada! The small decor is up! We took some happy pictures first before we left home to fetch Nai Nai and to pick up the cake and bbq food as well.

Here's my Elmo cake! Daddy says it looks like a pink Elmo.. but Mummy finds it still ok. Mummy wanted to take photos of the cake with my Elmos.. but forgot it all.

Well, the rain had stopped when we prepared to start the bbq. All was good until San Yi's toes got hit by a BIG BAD block of ice. She cracked her toes and I was a bit scared by the pandemonium. In the end, poor San Yi have to go to A&E and we all got no mood to party anymore. :( This is the only photo that San Yi took with me on my birthday.

After the chaos, we packed everything home and have the cake cutting at home. Only Daddy and Mummy sang "Happy Birthday" for me. And the poor Elmo cake had melted slightly by then. :(

What an "eventful" birthday celebration! I sure hope next year's celebration will be better!

Sesame Street Show

We went to the Sesame Street Show at Causeway Point yesterday. I was only interested in Elmo though... especially when Elmo sang my favourite "La la la la Elmo Song". After that, I no longer enjoyed the show and wanted to leave half-way through the show. Mummy says I have a really short attention span! Hai...

Naughty Corner

Nowadays when I do something bad, Daddy will put me in my "Naughty Corner" and let me stand there till I say sorry and do something to correct my mistake, like picking up the things I threw etc. Mummy is surprised that I can actually stay at the "Naughty Corner" till Daddy says it's ok for me to come out!

Previously, I was very stubborn. I will refuse to say sorry or pick up my toys, and I got to stand at the "Naughty Corner" for quite a while. Now I am smart! I will say sorry immediately when I am in the "Naughty Corner" and do what Daddy says! Then I can start running around again and do more naughty things! :p

KTV!

We went K-lunch today at AMK as Mummy and Daddy were on leave. It was my first time at a KTV. See how happy Daddy is while singing!

At Chloe's place

We wanted to go to Orchard to see the Xmas lights yesterday. But there was a massive jam at CTE, so we didn't go Orchard in the end. We went to Chloe's place instead.

As usual, I was shy and sticky to Mummy for the first 30mins that we were there.

After some warming up, I started playing with Chloe. This is the first time I actually interact with a kid of my age! I enjoyed playing with Chloe's toys.

Nice Chloe even shares her Pocky with me. See how many Pocky Chloe had in her mouth! I was trying to see if there's anyone wanting to snatch our Pocky from us! Don't worry Chloe, I'll keep a lookout for you!

Our XmasTree!

It's been 2 years since our Christmas tree was set up, and it's the first time I'm seeing the xmas tree! See how big the tree is! Beautiful?

Let's go to the zoo!

Friday 27th Nov 2009 was a public holiday. We finally got to go to the zoo! We went there at 9+am and spent a total of 5 hours there! It was super crowded there though.

It's my first time seeing so many animals, like monkeys, kangaroos, zebras, lions, tigers, etc! But I wasn't too excited about the animals though, because I was hot and sleepy.

We took a break at the shelter where I had my milk. I was slightly more energetic after that. Hehe!

Now here's my favourite place in the zoo. The Kidzworld! Not too interested in the merry-go-round.

I didn't want to leave the water-play area. Daddy and Mummy had to coax me away. We had lunch at KFC after that and I fell asleep in my stroller. Must be too tired after playing with all the water.

I only managed to nap for around 30mins. But at least I was happier after the power-nap. Can you spot the lion behind us?

I had another round of milk at the polar bear area. It started drizzling, but luckily the rain stopped when I finish my milk. Our last stop was at the elephants area. See how happy I am!

We went home at around 3pm. Tired but happy. All 3 of us had a good nap after that! The next day.. Mummy and Daddy woke up with aches all over their body though... from all the carrying of me. Opps! :P

Dec 07 Birthday bash!

We had a December 07 babies birthday party at MacDonalds in AMK on 22nd Nov 2009. It was nice seeing so many toddlers and their mummies and daddies! But I was very shy throughout the party and was super sticker to Mummy and Daddy. Didn't get to interact much with everyone though. Nevertheless, the party was a success and we took lots of pictures!

This is my favourite part of the party! Eating fries! You know, I'm still not very good with solid food like rice yet. I'll choke and vomit sometimes. But surprisingly, I can eat fries very very well! I can even chew 2 fries at a time and not get choked! Talk about being selective huh? :P
